Yes. We have had two people in the US murdered in the last few months directly because of Holocaust deniers.

Wesleyan University, a female student was murdered recently by a man holding the “Protocols of zion”, a Russian fabrication. And people say that crackpots don’t matter, eh? Shame on the NY Times for not telling the full truth, that this guy was a crackpot who read- and more importantly, believed in- the “Protocols”. This was an anti-semitic hate crime, and the NY Times doesn’t have the courage to post the truth.

The book is a widely read text now generally debunked as an anti-Semitic hoax purporting a plot by Jews seeking world domination. It’s considered a pretext for anti-Semitism in the early 20th century and remains influential in those circles today.

The Dutch and Holocaust denial laws. The Netherlands lost most of its Jewish population. I don’t think they should permit Holocaust denial. They should instead have a gigantic mirror placed in a public train station where everyone there has to see their own reflection, and next to it, a giant portrait of Anne Frank.

Respondent, in his sworn statements and in his pleadings, adamantly denies ever performing guard duty at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp from on or about January 20, 1943 until on or about September 4, 1944. The Government contends that its evidence demonstrates that respondent served as an SS Death’s Head guard at Sachsenhausen concentration camp near Oranienburg from on or about January 20, 1943 to on or about September 4, 1944 and assisted in the persecution of persons because of their race, religion, national origin or political opinion. This Court finds that based upon the witness testimony and documentary evidence presented, the Government has established by clear, unequivocal, and convincing evidence that respondent, as an SS Death’s Head Battalion Guard did, in fact, assist in the persecution of others under § 237(a)(4)(D) of the Act, 8 U.S.C. § 1227(a)(4)(D), and therefore is removable from the United States.
Central to the Government’s case are 2 documents, namely an SS camp personnel card in the name of Michael Gruber (Exhibit1), and the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Transfer List to Kurmark (Transfer List) which specifically identifies respondent as a Waffen SS Death’s Head Guard (Exhibit 3). The two corroborating documents specifically mention respondent by name and by birth date and constitute clear, unequivocal, and convincing evidence that respondent served as a Waffen SS Death’s Head Battalion Guard at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. (Exhibit 1, 3). These were administrative documents used by the Nazis to keep control over their soldiers and their whereabouts, thus their reliability is certain; it would have been counter-productive for the Nazis to fabricate such information.
The content of these two documents are further corroborated.
