It’s time to demolish Holocaust denial.
Here we go:

He recounts how Heinrich Himmler, second in overall authority in the Third Reich, told Rudolf Hoess, Commandant of Auschwitz (27-28) that Hitler had ordered that all Jews within the Nazi reach must be annihilated.
Here he details how the extermination machinery developed at Auschwitz. It should be pointed out that his account is in substantive agreement with other testimony by victims and perpetrators at Auschwitz. 10
The second part of Hoess’s memoirs, dated February 1947, deals with his rise through the Nazi hierarchy and some of the administrative problems he faced at Auschwitz. Here he reveals (142) an order from **1941 that “[a]ll Jews without exception are to be destroyed.” There is a separate chapter on gassing (155-164), but not as much detail is given as in the chapter on the final solution.
The reliability of these memoirs can be tested by comparing them to independent corroborating evidence. All of the essential eyewitness testimony corroborates Höss’s memoirs on Auschwitz. ** Pery Broad, an SS man stationed at Auschwitz while Höss was the commandant, wrote of the gas chambers and crematoria in his memoirs. 12 Similarly, they are confirmed by the **diary kept by SS physician at Auschwitz Johann Kremer. 13 The post war testimony by victims and perpetrators at the **Belsen trial in 1947 of many guards who served at Auschwitz is further corroborating evidence. 14 There was also a great deal of victim and perpetrator testimony at the **Auschwitz trials in Frankfurt, Germany in the mid 1960s of 20 defendants who were stationed at the camp. 15
In the case of Auschwitz there is also a great deal of documentary evidence which has survived that supports Höss’s memoirs in all details. The following analysis will examine this documentation to test the reliability of the memoirs.
Höss writes (28) that he met with Adolf Eichmann, the head of the Gestapo’s Jewish Office, “who told me about killings by engine exhaust gas in the gas vans and how they had been used in the East [the Soviet occupied territory] up until now.”
Holocaust denier David Irving obtained Eichmann’s unpublished memoirs. These memoirs were written before he was captured by the Israelis, so it cannot be claimed that they were written under duress. Irving quotes Eichmann as writing that he was on a bus and told by the driver “to look through a peep hole in the back of the bus where he saw a number of prisoners being gassed by exhaust fumes.” 22

SO here Hoess uses the phrase “extermination facilities” and “extermination camps” (English, Vernichtungslageren).

As such, he frequently sent prisoners to Auschwitz for incarceration or execution. He visited Auschwitz on several occasions. The Gestapo court, the SS Standgericht, which tried persons accused of various crimes, such as escaping prisoners of war, et cetera,frequently met within Auschwitz, and Mildner often attended the trial of such persons, who usually were executed in Auschwitz following their sentence. I showed Mildner through the extermination plant at Auschwitz and he was directly interested in it since he had to send the Jews from his territory for execution at Auschwitz. ”

Hoess refers to Dr Brack, top secret memo . He openly discusses Genocide.
“Deniers have had a difficult time explaining why a shower and a gas tight door would be in a corpse cellar”. [Auschwitz-birkenau]
The link of special treatment to poison gas was further established in a memo of August 26, 1942 where permission was given to the Auschwitz concentration camp “for dispatch of a truck to Dessau to load material for special treatment.” (HEART site). Dessau is where the poison Zyklon B was manufactured. 34

A report in The New York Times in late November 1942 states:
Information received here of methods by which the Germans in Poland are carrying out the slaughter of Jews includes accounts of trainloads of adults and children taken to great crematoriums at [sic] Oswiencim near Cracow. 37
Höss’s most important demographic observation concerns the total number of victims who were murdered at Auschwitz. He gave the total (39) of **1,130,000.
However, in 1991 Polish historian and Auschwitz authority, Dr. Franciszek Piper, did the most comprehensive demographic study of the number of deportees to the camp ever undertaken. He began the study in 1980. He found that*** 1.3 million had been deported to Auschwitz during its 4 1/2 year existence but that only 400,000 had received a registration number. Of those 400,000 only 200,000 had not been killed. All of the unregistered deportees, who cannot be accounted for, were killed. This means that 1.1 million were killed. 49 The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. has now accepted this number. 50
Höss [Hoess] repudiated former testimony he had given at the International Military Tribunal, before he was handed over to the Poles, that 2.5 million were killed. He wrote (39): “I regard a total of 2.5 million as far too high. Even Auschwitz had limits to its destructive capacity. Figures given by former prisoners are figments of their imagination and have no basis in fact.”
He states that on pain of death he will not steal any Jewish property or reveal any information about the Jewish “evacuations.”
{Hence this proves the Nazis used code words like “Special treatment”, “Final Solution”, and “Evacuation to the East” to signify mass murder.}
Höss recounts (38-39) that he was ordered by Himmler to destroy all of the information about the number of victims murdered after each action at Auschwitz. He states that he personally destroyed all of the evidence of mass murder and that other department heads did the same. He quotes Eichmann as telling him that Himmler and the Gestapo headquarters destroyed documents which could tie them to mass murder.
March 15, 1945 from the Gauleiter and Commisioner for Reich Defense, Sprenger:
All files, particularly the secret ones, are to be destroyed completely. The secret files about… installations and deterring work in the concentration camps must be destroyed at all costs. Also, the extermination of some families,etc. These files must under no circumstances fall into the hands of the enemy, since after all they were ***secret orders by the Führer. 53
The Professor concludes: “…the Höss memoirs are very reliable as to their overall truth.
“More than 50 years have passed since Höss was executed for his crimes. The passage of time has tended to validate the Höss memoirs. New discoveries only add to his credibility. Historians have been correct for the past 40 years to rely on these writings. ”

Himmler’s notes for a discussion with Hitler on October 7, 1942, read: “Conditions Gen. Gouv. Globus” [Conditions Generalgouvernement Globus]. “Globus” was Globocnik’s nickname. And it is around this time that Globocnik visited the Reich Chancellery. It is most likely that he briefed Himmler, who then went down the hall to brief Hitler.9
The [Reinhard] camps were built in late 1941 and early 1942 and went into operation in the spring.
Sixteen years later, in 1959, historian Martin Gilbert had the following experience on a visit to Treblinka:
I stepped down from the cart on to the sandy soil; a soil that was gray rather than brown. Driven by I know not what impulse, I ran my hand through that soil, again and again. The earth beneath my feet was coarse and sharp: filled with fragments of human bone.
In addition, excavations at all three extermination camps have found evidence of mass murder.

Deborah Lipstadt speaks of this in her witness statement in the lawsuit brought against her by David Irving:
The deniers are not engaged in a physical destruction. They are engaged in an attempt to pervert the world’s memory of how a state almost succeeded in destroying an entire people, along with many others. Currently they are trying to taint the world’s memory of those who were entrapped in this horror. If they succeed at that they will then seek to eradicate any memory of them. This is a “double dying.” One hopes to prevent that second dying. It is too late to do anything about the first.

The term “Judenevakuierung,” the ***Jewish evacuation, is a code-word for what was really going on at Auschwitz. Heinrich Himmler had earlier made this clear in a secret October 1943 speech:
I am talking about the evacuation of the Jews [Judenevakuierung], the extermination of the Jewish people. It is one of those things that is easily said. “The Jewish people is being exterminated,” every Party member will tell you, “perfectly clear, it’s part of our plans, we’re eliminating the Jews, exterminating them, a small matter.”

Furthermore, during his trial, SS-Obersturmbannführer Karl Adolf Eichmann, head of the department for Jewish Affairs in the Gestapo from 1941 to 1945, submitted that Reinhard Heydrich, head of the Reich Central Security Office, or RSHA (Reichssicherheitshauptamt) in charge of “carrying out the desired final solution of the Jewish question” informed him two or three months prior to Operation Barbarossa (22 June 1941) that Hitler had ordered the physical annihilation of the Jews.

In a speech at the Berlin Sports Palace, Adolf Hitler again predicted that the European war would end with the destruction of the Jews:
.
. . [T]he war will not end as the Jews imagine it will, namely with the extermination of the Aryans, but the result of this war will be the complete annihilation of the Jews.

To begin with, I [Rosenberg] asked the Fuehrer about my speech in the Sportpalast and referred to several points which seemed to call for further discussion. The Fuehrer was of the opinion that the speech was given prior to the declaration of war by Japan and therefore under different suppositions, but in view of this, still desires to think over several points. It probably would not be appropriate if I were to officially say that the provinces in the East were to remain under Germany. I said thereupon that I, too, had considered this point, that one can probably only say that the Eastern Provinces [Ostland] will remain under German protection. The Fuehrer was of the opinion, only to go so far that the provinces never would come under communism now from the German side appear as secured.
I remarked on the Jewish question that the comments about the New York Jews must perhaps be changed somewhat after the conclusion (of matters in the East). I took the standpoint, not to speak of the ***extermination [Ausrottung] of the Jews. The Fuehrer affirmed this and said that they had burdened the war upon us and that they had brought the destruction; it is no wonder if the results would strike them first.

The German historian Peter Longerich has concluded that the decision for a global extermination of European Jews came in May 1942. Christopher Browning puts it earlier, in the fall of 1941.

Gerald Fleming: Hitler and the Final Solution p.89-90:
“On 25 and 29 November 1941, five convoys of German Jews from Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Vienna, and Breslau were massacred in Kovno in Fort IX, without any prior screening to determine which were fit for labor and which were not. On Sunday, 30 November, at 1:30 P.M., the RFSS Himmler telephoned Heydrich in Prague from the bunker of the Führer’s Headquarters, the Wolf’s Lair (Wolfschanze). Himmler knew full well that he had already issued the first liquidation orders for Riga to the newly appointed Higher SS and Police Leader for the Ostland, Friedrich Jeckeln, on 10 and 11 November from his headquarters in the Prinz-Albrechtstrasse: “Tell Lohse it is my order, which is also the Führer’s wish.”
Now Himmler recalled that on 27 November a Jewish convoy with over one thousand people from Berlin had departed for Riga, arriving there on the evening of 29 November, and had been left on a railway siding, in order for these Jews to be liquidated the following morning. Himmler instructed Heydrich to cancel the scheduled liquidation of this Berlin convoy. (my emphasis) Heydrich’s response to the RFSS was, however, a confirmation that all of the Berlin Jews had been shot at 8:15 that morning in the Rumbuli Forest, ahead of their fourteen thousand companions in misfortune from Riga, and that the action was continuing as ordered.”

Commandant Rudolf Hoess’s post-war account of an order for the extermination of all European Jews, supposedly given to him by Himmler in the summer of 1941, is rejected by most historians because of its impossible chronology, when compared with other events, and also because of the glaring internal chronological contradictions within the account itself.
Most historian acknowledge the chronological mistake my Höess. But they do accept the general timeframe of events. “Comparing Höess’ testimony to that of Adolf Eichmann at least two elements remain in tact; first, that Höss learned of the decision for the extermination of the Jews sometime in the summer of 1941 but did not yet know how this would be accomplished, and, second, that Eichmann did subsequently visit Auschwitz.”(Richard Breitman; The Architect of the Genocide; Himmler and the Final Solution“, p.23).
Breitman also dates the Himmler-Höss meeting to mid-July (13th-15th). Himmler seems to have been very active in this timeframe. He met up with Globocnik on the 21.7. and with Prützmann on the 29.7.

Von dem Bach-Zelewski: “In early August just after Himmler’s visit, Prützmann mentioned to some subordinates in his office in Riga that Himmler had instructed him to resettle “criminal elements”. When someone asked where they were to be resettled to, Prützmann replied that the questioner had misconstrued the situation — they would be sent to the next world.”

Nazi leadership mentioned the possibility of exterminating European Jewry, even before the outbreak of the war. The most famous of these articulations was made by Hitler on January 30th 1939 in a speech at the Reichstag.
